Welcome to the web page for Venture Crew 171. We were 1st chartered in 2004. We are in the Gemstone District of the Piedmont Council in North Carolina. Our Sponsor Organization is Williamson Chapel UMC in Mooresville, NC.

What We Do

Our Crew is a high adventure organization. We average 12 to 15 active youth from 14 to 21 years of age.
Since we started, We have won the following awards.

District Crew of the Year for Gemstone District: 2005, 2006 , 2007, 2008 and 2009.

We average over 1000 hours per year in Community Service.

We enjoy rock climbing, backpacking, biking, rafting, snow skiing, kayaking, bowling, and fellowship.
